Offering analog output (ratiometric output) or digital output options (SENT output), Melexis has both relative and absolute pressure sensors. Melexis pressure sensor ICs are rated for temperature ranges of -40°C to 150°C and operate on a 4.5 – 5.5V voltage. They offer solutions with calibrated transfer functions of 0 – 1.2 bar relative pressures and 0-30..50 bar absolute pressures. Melexis provides products with up to 0.5% full scale accuracy. They also offer a microcontroller-based pressure and temperature sensor (see MLX90818) with absolute pressure accuracy of ±0.5% to ±0.75% and ±1°C accurate temperature information.
For applications such as vacuum measurement, clogged filter detection and process monitoring, Melexis offers sensors that preform down to vacuum and to 50 bar absolute pressure. They offer gauge, vacuum, and absolute pressure sensors for versatile applications with a large focus on harsh media automotive applications. Many of their sensors can be calibrated in-house or by the client.
