OEM piezoresistive measuring cells provide an analog pressure range of 0.1 – 1000 bar with an accuracy of ≤ 0.5 or 0.25% of the full-scale. STS offers analog pressure transmitters with pressure ranges from 0.05 – 1000 bar and operating temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius with a full-scale accuracy of 0.03% – 0.30%. The pressure transmitters are available in analog output, digital output, and unamplified output (passive, mV range), some with the capacity for programming. Outputs are typically 4-20mA and 0-10V. The pressure switches offered have a pressure range of 0.1 – 1000 bar and operate from -25 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. Barometric pressures are available for most products as well.
STS pressure sensors can be used in a variety of industries including test & measurements, machine and plan construction, mining, oil & subsea, aviation, life sciences, medical, chemical, water treatment, and aviation. Constructed with mainly stainless steel and titanium, these sensors can survive harsh environments and are resistant to corrosion. Some pressure transmitters are ATEX and IECEx certified, rendering the transducers applicable in explosive environments. The manufacturer offers gauge, sealed gauge, and absolute pressure sensors that work through piezoresistive technology making the sensors suitable for dynamic or static measurements. The manufacturer provides a modular product design for rapid customization to meet the required applications.
